I’ve always known about affirmations but it never really occurred to me that its something I should be doing and something that can really impact your mental health and how you view yourself. Affirmations can be about anything, but here I’ve compiled a list of 20 general affirmations that anyone (and everyone) can say to themselves daily.
I think the first time I said any affirmations out loud was at the start of lockdown when I did some morning meditation sessions on Heels and Feels Instagram page with Sasha. [Fun story that just happened!!! Like as I’m writing this!! I went on Instagram to see if Sasha was still doing her daily meditation, and it turns out Heels and Feels have launched a whole new page Heals and Feels and now have a whole separate wellness timetable – how incredible! And slightly spooky that it literally launched today when I went looking for their normal profile when I haven’t been on it in weeks. I’m shook]
I’ve done all of the meditations so far this week and although it hurt me a little bit to set my alarm before 8am (it’s been a while since I’ve seen that time of day) it has felt SO good to get back into. Just making that commitment to yourself and to your well-being, taking 30 minutes out of your day to take care of YOU, can make all the difference to your day.

Repeat these affirmations to yourself as often as you can, daily if possible, maybe even twice daily. You can say them out loud, say them in front of a mirror, or just write them down, whichever works for you. They are in no particular order here so feel free to jumble them around.
