I’ve been meaning to post this for a while now but finally here it is… a fitness challenge for you all! If you’ve not done a workout today, I encourage you to try this! If you have, take this as an add on to your next workout!
I’m going to list out the alphabet with a corresponding exercise, and the idea is that you spell out your name to create your workout. You can make this harder by doing your full name including middle names. To change things up, try spelling out different words – members of your family’s names, the month you were born, the street you live on or the town you live in, there are endless possibilities!
Exercises marked with an * mean you need to do them on both sides
A – 5 Burpees
B – 10 Narrow Squats
C – 10 Sumo Squats
D – 10 Side Lying Leg Raises*
E – 10 Press Ups
F – 20 Reverse Curls
G – 20 Leg Extensions
H – 30 Second Plank
I – 15 Squat Jumps
J – 10 Tricep Press Ups
K – 20 Mountain Climbers
L – 30 Second Side Plank*
M – 20 Russian Twists
N – 20 Calf Raises
O – 10 Static Lunges*
P – 20 Jumping Jacks
Q – 5 Burpees
R – 20 Skaters
S – 20 Full Sit Ups
T – 15 Plank Jacks
U – 10 Tricep Dips
V – 10 Tuck Jumps
W – 30 Second Sprint
X – 10 Explosive Hops*
Y – 20 Double Crunches
Z – 5 Burpees

Comment below what your name workout would be and let me know how you get on if you decide to give it a go!

I love this idea!
Thanks!
Oooh this is such a fun idea! I can get stuck in a workout rut every now and then so this would be perfect for switching things up x

It would be perfect for that! It can be easy to get stuck, but if you’ve got some of these in the bag to pull out when you need it you can always pull through!
I have a nickname that I grew up with and always tend to do these kind of challenges with that name, Cheri. It is much shorter than Shalama. These do give you a good workout, regardless.
Haha you should try doing both names 😉
Okay, this actually sounds like fun. And my name is fairly easy other than the fact I can’t do press ups because I have zero upper body strength. I think I might give this a go! x

Give it a go and challenge yourself! Try incline press ups on the edge of a sofa or windowsill to build up your strength 🙂
This sounds great, I’m 100% up for this, I love challenges and stuff as it’s a good way to get motivated and make you stay on board/stay accountable and engaged with something. I’ll start this tomorrow and let you know how I get on ? thanks for sharing!! x x x x

This is such a great idea! I’m going to do this tomorrow 🙂 Thanks for sharing this!
Yay! Be sure to let me know how it goes!
This is such a fun way to encourage people to get up and get active. I love that it turns exercising into a bit of a game. Often the hardest part is getting yourself up and motivated, and this really helps with that. Thank you for sharing!
Workouts should always be fun! (At least 90% of the time) Thank you for reading!
This is great! You could really change up your workout by changing up the word. Maybe you could do a word of the day to keep you on track with the exercise, as the combination of exercise would be different. What a great way to make exercising fun!
Thanks for sharing!

Indeed! Thank you for reading 🙂
Great challenge.
Talk about creative! I just pinned your list so I can come back to it on a regular basis. I’ve definitely needed a boost as far as exercise goes. Thanks for sharing this!
I love these kind of workouts!!
Me too!
I’m going to do my full name tomorrow, I won’t include my middle name as that means I would have to do 60 double crunches! x

Middle names included are definitely a challenge, I have two! Can’t say I’ve tried it yet haha!
This is such a good idea and a great way to mix it up! I always get bored of workouts that stay the same so this is perfect! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for reading!
Thanks, I like to mix things up like this! And I have a longer name, so definitely a good workout!
for sure, the longer the name the better! 😉
Looks like I have a lot of burpees to do since my name is mostly As ?
haha good luck!
Omg this is such a fun idea!! Definitely saving this for my next workout!! xx
